December 2, 2011 | New Westminster concert date added to popular
Christmas concert series
Vancouver, BC – musica intima has just announced the addition of a fourth concert to its celebrated holiday concert series from heaven came, made possible by a sponsorship from local company Stuart Crown Co. Inc. The concert will take place at New Westminster’s Knox Presbyterian Church, and will feature New West-based alto Melanie Adams as a soloist.
Adams, who runs a voice studio in New Westminster and is currently musica intima’s longest-serving member, says “This concert is a wonderful opportunity for New West residents to attend a concert by Vancouver's best vocal ensemble, whose annual Christmas concerts are considered a huge highlight of every Christmas season and regularly sell out in Vancouver.” Showcasing intima’s hallmark Christmas piece, Angels from Heaven Came, Vancouver composer Larry Nickel’s Mary Treasured All These Things, and many more, from
heaven came lights up the darkest time of year for all ages. But be forewarned: these popular Christmas
concerts do sell out!
